2 Things Everyone Should Have

I'd like to think I've learned a few things in my adventures abroad. If nothing else, I know there are two things I simply cannot travel without.

1 // A scarf.

But not just any scarf. A magical scarf that transforms into a million different things. A shirt. A hoodie. A blanket. A pillow.

Enter the Vinyasa Scarf. My Mom bought it for me recently and it knocked my socks off. The brilliance of this singular piece of fabric cannot be understated. Every traveling gal should have one.

"Here's the story, of a traveling lady, who was wrapping up in one very cozy scarf."

Double brownie points if you actually got that joke. ^^

Lululemon's Vinyasa Scarf is my hands-down favorite, but if it doesn't quite take your fancy there are some really great infinity scarves here, here (cashmere AND on sale!) and oh, this one's adorable.

They are an awesome holiday gift idea for the traveller or the person who seems to have everything.

Alright, so on to that second item I cannot travel without.

2 // A backpack.

Apparently they are, like, sooo on trend right now *twirls hair around finger*. That would make it just about the best time ever to find your perfect backpack. No shortage of these classic carry-alls.

I recently found the transformer of backpacks. I'm totally in love with this thing.

It's going to start seeming like a sponsored post for Lululemon, but I promise you, it's not. I just looove so many of their things. A little on the pricey side, sure. But so well made and everything is stylistically clean and modern. Me likey.

This pack is perfection. It has a padded back pocket for my MacBook, side pockets for drinks, and about a million other pockets to keep everything organized.

Best of all, the front pouch is detachable and comes with a removable shoulder strap converting it into a small cross body bag. I love a designer handbag as much as the next gal but when I'm out traveling, sightseeing and hiking in foreign lands I'd much rather save the fancy bag for fancy outings.

I've only toted it around on our Southwestern adventure so far, but I have a feeling this beauty is going to clock some miles with me in the coming years.

Sadly, they don't seem to sell it anymore but fret not, Stella McCartney has a gorgeous alternative.

What are your two travel must haves?
