I reckon this is the way to hold on to love too. Yeah sure, I have bad days, you have bad days, everyone has bad days. But isn't life so much better when we focus on the things we love? With that in mind, I'm going to start 'For the Love of Fridays'. A weekly round-up of things that I loved this week just to stay focused on the lighter side of life.
Quite timely if you ask me. Valentine's Day is just around the corner (I see all you men rolling your eyes...).
There are so many things out there to love. It just makes me feel good to laugh and smile. So enough of the mushy talk, here's some stuff that made me laugh or smile this week.
- Jerrome Jarre's video of an old woman picking her nose (if it doesn't make you at least smile please check your pulse immediately)
- A campaign to end 'mommy wars'.
- Parents' note to kids so they can sleep in. I MUST remember this when my little man gets older.
- Are you a fan of the Bachelor? I gave it up years ago (yes, like a bad habit) because it just got so disgustingly predictable. I love this article that A Cup of Jo wrote about the psychology of The Bachelor. Woman are so much smarter and better than this.
- 54 terrible jokes in 4 minutes. Seriously. Horrible. But funny?
