Can I just take a moment to say, whoa, potty training a toddler is no joking matter. We spent our entire weekend doing just that. I narrowly survived with my sanity in tact but I'm thrilled to report it was a success. I couldn't be happier to put that behind us (ha, get it, behind us?...).
In the words of Forrest Gump, "That's all I have to say about that."
I'm pleased as punch that Autumn has officially arrived. That means....sweatpants season! I love this pair from J Crew. Teetering on the border of sweatpants that you wouldn't be ashamed to leave the house in. I still can't bring myself to do it though.
But the real question is, when can I wear my mukluks without people thinking I'm nuts.
I never claimed to be stylish or trendy guys. I think it's fair to say we all have at least one fugly item in our closet that is just too cozy to let go of.
By Sunday we were able to move beyond a 10 ft. perimeter of the toilet (potty training...). The weather was just beautiful.
Another thing I love about this time of year? Soup. Lots and lots of soup. Tomato soup with a grilled cheese sandwich just happens to be one of my favs.
And a pretty amazing cotton candy sunset...
...which appeared to be on fire.
