I still can't believe it's not officially Summer. When does Summer start? Apparently on June 21st, but by the looks of things, Summer has already arrived at our place.
You would think that the upcoming 3 solid weeks of football (
World Cup) would have me a little cranky. But actually I'm pretty excited about celebrating Father's Day with E. I mean, how cute (and accurate) is this Father's Day card?!
Thank god the pool doesn't open on the official start of Summer! We've already been multiple times to splash around with the
new GoPro. Umm, yeah, I'm still practicing with it...
Another great thing about this time of year? My flower garden looks amazing. This is the only time of year when the neighbors might actually think I have a green thumb (I
definitely don't). It seems like every plant I own dies a slow death.
The heat and rain are making up for my lack of gardening skills though. Score!
Speaking of scoring...weekend plans include World Cup, followed by a bit of World Cup, and then some food and sleep mixed in. Actually, I'll probably bail on the boys and spend the weekend perusing the mall in search of something to buy which I definitely don't need. My
Pinterest wish list is getting quite long...
