Unlike the hustle bustle of our Afternoon Tea, the spa at the Ritz was quiet. And when I say quiet, I mean quiet!
We paddled around. Splashed about. Read magazines and gazed at the Atlanta skyline.
Not before a surprise stop upstairs for the massages the Mr. had booked. Sneaky dude! We chilled out sipping strawberry water until the masseuses arrived.
Hot stones for me and a good 'ol Swedish for him.
With jello legs and full bellies, we set off to kill some time before our next 'scheduled stop'. I suggested the mall across the street because really, where better to kill time (and your wallet)?
After spying the handbag of my dreams and the price tag of my nightmares (it will be mine!) we popped across the street (again). But this time we landed at the cinema!
E knows me too well. Or so I thought. He presented me with tickets to.....Guardians of the Galaxy?! Huh?
I was more confused than a walrus in a cinema.
Nice segway huh?
Apparently Guardians of the Galaxy had rave reviews and several of our friends had pegged it as a 'must see'. Why not? I'm up for trying new things. Especially when it involves fully reclining, super coooooushy seats.
I just had to gif it for you. For the whole effect...
I just love holding hands with my lover boy while watching a movie on the big screen. I've got to say, Guardians was actually pretty great! Don't be put off by the talking raccoon, this one's full of humor and totally lovable characters.
By the time we came out of the cinema it was dusk and I knew there would be time left for only one more stop on this epic date day.
I think someone was craving steak because we ended up at a good old classic, The Capital Grille. We stuffed ourselves until we could barely walk and watched night fall over the city.
One. Epic. Galatic. Spa-tastic. Date.
How lucky a girl am I?
