Handstands & Gratitude ツ

My mission : to master the yoga handstand by the end of the year. My method : via the headstand. My reality : headstand achieved! With some not-so-graceful wipeouts in between.


Earlier this year I set a fitness goal for myself (first ever I think) to master the yoga handstand.

I'm pleased to report that I have made it half way with my near-mastery of the headstand. Therein lies one of several things I'm grateful for currently.




Today, I am grateful for...


// having found some solid new friends.

// the support and kindness of my blog readers (however few or many).

// the first signs of Fall. Crisp dry air and falling leaves.

// a healthy family.

// a husband who makes me smile daily.

// having a positive attitude despite life's obstacles.

// Netflix. We've just discovered Orange is the New Black. Drama or Humor?...

// achieving the headstand!


What are you grateful for today?

PS - Life isn't perfect...neither are my headstands. Keep working toward your goals. In the meantime, you can have a laugh at my failed attempts.
