Peace Out Summer 2014

Goodbye sweltering, itchy, frizzy, sweaty looong days. Hello crisp, dry Autumn air, sweaters, jeans and boots. I missed you.

Everyone has a favorite season. Mine is most definitely Fall. Really though, any season where I don't have to walk around with these sexy, crusty white splotches on my legs to numb the bug bites. All 73 of them.

On my thrice weekly trip to Target I couldn't control the cheesy smile and childlike glee that washed over me when I perused the Halloween aisle. But before I get too far ahead of myself, I'd like to take a moment to reflect and bid adieu to this heinously long, hot summer.

// Things I Learned This Summer //

- Daily skin care is paramount once you've hit 30. Something I wish I had started way earlier in life.

- You can eat all the healthy food in the world but without cardio, you won't drop the lbs.

- You can always learn something new. Instagram challenges are a surprisingly fun way to learn new things about yourself and the world around you.

1 - $5 Beauty Secret. Born from my aforementioned skin care revelation. 17,000 views and counting!

2 - Memories of Athens, Greece. Who doesn't love to travel vicariously through others and laugh at photos of grown men wearing giant pom poms on their shoes?

3 - Tips for Using Your GoPro : SCUBA and Pool. I'm feelin a follow up post brewing for using a GoPro in the Fall...perhaps 'Tips for Using Your GoPro Strapped to Your Pet'?

4 - Hyperlapse Tips and Tutorial. Because (nearly) everything looks better in hyper speed. And it's addictively fun to use.

The epic 'date day' that E organized for us. Afternoon Tea, The Ritz Carlton Spa, cuddling at the cinema and a steak dinner. One glorious day of carefree bliss.

So, peace out summer 2014. It's been real. Thanks for the memories, and the bug bite scars.
