For the Love of Friday

Some things that took my fancy this week...

-1-   How to take better Instagram pictures. A cute cheek-in-tongue video by Song of Style.

-2-   An easy way to choose the correct desk and chair height. Important for us work-from-homers.

-3-   I'm loving this blog course...it really has the gears turning. #bloglife

-4-  Kelly Ripa's Penthouse was just sold. Giving us all a chance to have a snoop around inside. I love having a peek inside celeb homes.

Oh and one more thing, a major thing really...I have officially completed an HTML/CSS course. I'm a coding ninja!

This is a big deal for a couple of reasons:

○ 6 months ago I made a goal to find something to enjoy and do for myself, separate from my responsibilities as a wife and mom. My return to blogging was that 'thing' which has evolved into a new found love for coding. Discovering new passions in life is incredibly fulfilling.

○ I have learned a new language essentially. That's just cool.

○ My blog is my oyster. Or guinea pig. Basically a place I can get totally geeked-out on widgets and photos and formatting. The beginning of a little business venture perhaps? See, told you the gears were turning!

I'm kind of willy-nilly about it jumping from one thing to the next each Friday, but always sticking to things that I love(d) about the week. It's feeling a little discombobulated to me. Thoughts?
