I think I just died and went to burger heaven. Okay maybe not, but his was the best hamburger I've ever had. Ever.
That's saying a lot too. I'm from the beef capital of the USA. I know a good burger when I see one.
We were craving a burger the other night and E came up with the brilliant suggestion of trying BurgerFi. Mainly because they serve on-tap beer, but the menu took his fancy too.
First of all, the atmosphere is just...fun. Bright colors, funky details and a big wide open patio. I was excited already.
You know you're somewhere good when you are torn between more than two things on the menu. When in doubt, I go for an old classic. In this case, the Classic Double Cheeseburger. Okay, well maybe not completely classic...throw a little garlic aioli on there. Why not?
It was a lovely spring evening so we decided to sit outside under the 'Big Ass Fan'. Their name, not mine.
I practically ran to the counter when our buzzer went off. Here's what I returned to the table with.
They even stamp their buns! Watch out for the bacon.
E went for the Breakfast All Day Burger and we shared an order of the Parmasean Fries.
Little Man had a grilled cheese mainly because they don't have kiddie sized burgers.
Just how, exactly, do you wash down the best burger in Atlanta? With an ice cream confection of some description. Of course.
BurgerFi's concrete/shake menu is crazy good. Again, torn between options. I went with the Red Velvet Concrete. You could have told me my car was on fire and I wouldn't have noticed while I was snarfing this thing down.
Insanely good.
Passed around the table more than once.
Annihilated.
Hamburgers will never be the same. Tastebuds forever changed. Thank you for rocking my world BurgerFi. I will return...very soon.
